Four steps to ensure a smooth move!
Step 1
Decide which items you’re taking to your new property and have a declutter, you don’t want to take items that you’re going to discard to your new property. Once you know what you’re taking, get in touch with local movers and book in some quotes. With us, this would either be an inhouse visit with one of our surveyors or you can send us a walk around video to our Whatsapp account on 07915 998202. Which ever is easier for you!
Step 2
You’ll receive a quote from us within 24 hours of our visit or after a video has been sent to us. This will explain our plan and how we would like to execute your upcoming move to make it as smooth as possible.
Once you have got your quotes and have selected your company, we recommend you keep them in the loop with your potential move dates to make sure they can accommodate your move.
Step 3
Once a date agreed and you have changed contracts get in touch with us and if we have availability to accommodate your move, we would ask you to accept your quote which will automatically generate an invoice for your move and we can begin the process our end for getting ready for your move.
This is also the best time to change your address for utilities and banks etc.
Step 4
MOVE DAY!
On move day we would always aim to be with you bright and early to make sure we have your property emptied by lunch time. Once we arrive we will do a quick walk around to make sure everyone’s happy and know what is to take and what is to stay! Once this has been carried out you will be free to chill out and get excited to be in your new property.
